On The Street: Before Rick Owens - Palais de Tokyo - Paris.
This lady here exemplifies being chic and practical at the same time. If you have to run around from show to show very early in the morning till evening, then you need to strike the right balance between being chic and comfortable. Just in case you were wondering, she wasn't riding the bike.
p.s. Ricardo Tisci to replace John Galliano at Dior after a six-year term at Givenchy. The song 'all eyes on me' by Tupac comes to mind.

I adore her aesthetic of elegence, comfort, accesibility and, well, sheer sophistication...it's healthy to draw a breath of fresh air after all the crowds and blunders of over-dressed individuals, ofcourse, not dismissing them in any sense, because i appreciate them dearly on account of me probably resembling them ;) but im trying to convey meaning of their being a right balance between all;comfort and eccentricity.

This is fantastic with flat boots, unexpected and gorgeous!
The mix of elegance and nonchalance works beautifully. I love the angles behind her, you always turn out a masterpiece that way.
Bet you she has a pair of heels stashed away to crack out for the after-parties ;)
Its what I would do...!

Really great shots here.
Tisci for Dior. He'll have to round out his lines a bit.
Love this girl (obviously because of the way she was shot, of course;) ) - effortless chic. Hmmm, Tisci for Dior - interesting one to watch...

i love the chanel bag! such a perfect touch to any outfit!
You are right this is a great combination. Great find. Xxxx
Is it decided - R. Tisci for Dior? Wow. Anyway, my feet sigh when I see this, it looks SO COMFORTABLE. But one needs GOOD legs for this (which she has!).
Very well said. As we all learned at LFW, there's nothing glamorous about being freezing and barely able to walk!
Ah, the flat worker-y boots are such a contrast to this girly and feminine dress. Really cool and much more edgy than if she had worn it with a pair of heels.
p.s. yobbo?! reeeaaally?? coming from anyone else i might just be offended... xx
Love the boots, and I love it when women prefer comfort over sexy.
Wow. so amazing skirt! I love it!!!
