Whaaaww. Love the colour combos from J Saunders, they are so yummy.
I am so surprised by Fashion East - didn't their Fall collection look like something from the Matrix? Yep - I just looked back. I only remember this because I was doing some research into some slick pieces for a dance # and LOVED the body netting look from Fashion East.
What a polar opposite feel to these creations that are so spirited but sensual and organic at the same time. I can't imagine the work that goes into these...although the look is meant to feel unaffected and natural, it must be murder to step away from a piece like this and dropping the shears to say "OK, it's done". Like a painter, there would be such a tendency to overwork a piece though ... actually no one would know I guess.
Can't wait to see Nicole Kidman in that mustard yellow one. Ha!
Great photos David. Keep 'em coming.

You lucky lucky devil. You are going to some great shows!

As for people using your photos, consider putting a whatchamacallit on the bottom of your photos (words are escaping me at the moment but you know what I mean) - like I do. Then there's no doubt that it's your photo regardless of who uses them. Unless you just don't want any use of them whatsoever.

There are some good things here. The dress by Todd Lynn which is clearly inspired by Paco Rabanne & Pierre Cardin stands out. The work by Jonathan Saunders is an interesting mix between (Balenciaga) Nicolas Ghesquière's colours & some of Marc Jacobs designs for Louis Vuitton.

The most interesting work is from Fashion East - but they showed three designers this time, didn't they?

The works of Ashish are the most intriguing: they are rather creative but not very convincing from a technical point of view (the way those fringes are sewn into the pockets does not look very high standard for example).

I'm with Nadine on J Saunders! Give me a full skirt and a tiny waist anytime. Hope that trend is trickling down to the stores...
