After I was consumed by this jazzy-visual on The Photodiarist (who was courteous enough to let me use them), I went away to listen to Jay-Z's Roc Boys (And The Winner is...) off the American Gangster album coz that's the first song that popped in my mind as I saw those pics.
While I was deep in audio-euphoria, I remembered that I had shot something similar during London Fashion Week. So, ladies and gentlemen, allow me to present...

I like the ones you shot. I love the guy's look and posture - the way he leans back in the first photo. What he is missing are the cheeks of the guy in the black and white photos.
Great photo's. I get different emotions from both sets, so I can't decide.
I feel passion and emotion from the b&w photo's, the guys face on the b&w photo is full of character!
From you pictures I feel passion, confidence/determination and the guy has great posture.
