Shy Girl - Hanbury Street - London.

I cannot put my finger on it exactly, but I had to stop this young lady here for a picture. There is a certain draw to this look. It might look dishevelled but look how cleverly she has done it.

I mean look at the colour co-ordination of the shoes and the bag, the fabric combination of that jersey underneath with the rough texture of the jacket on top and not to mention how well the proportions have been considered in terms of loosely fitting her body.

It is the just-got-out-of-bed attitude this outfit exudes that draws me to things like that - unusual beauty.

Sometimes the most inconspicuous looking people catch my attention too, perhaps because they are so self-contained and quiet in their manners. Observing people and what they wear and how they behave is also one of my pastimes in quiet moments. I also like to observe people's hands - they reveal so much about them.

You know sometimes it is just the aura people are carrying with them that makes you take a second look. And they you see that it was worth your while. Xxxx

I love it, too. Nothing contrived here, just great natural style.

She pulled the dishevelled look without looking like a mess perfectly. What I love the most is her hair ;)

Her dress even matches the door and window frames.

You're right! She looks very pretty. I like the coordination of shoes and bag. I know it seems to be quite old-fashion but is very chic!

Your instincts are always right! Love that nubby, huge jacket of hers with the boots and (seems distressed?) leather bag. Wonderful photograph too! xx

Yes, casual and relaxed in deep blending earth tones and rich earthy textures will always do it for me. It's the blonde hair and its styling that does it for her also.
