Fabric Details - London.

If I'm not on the street fishing for style, you will most likely find me at my friend's design studio getting familiar with fabrics. What you see above is a couple of interesting fabrics that caught my eye while out and about on the streets of London.

I have this near-obsession with fabric print, weave, composition, texture, colour, weight, movement, you name it, that drives the people at my friend's design studio crazy.

I'm obsessed with textiles and prints. I can literally fall in love in under a second. It's a great, instantaneous response that comes from somewhere deeper than I can think about consciously and suddenly, 'that dress has GOT to be mine!'

I love these details, especially the shawl.

Thank you for your lovely comment! I have a thing for fabric as well; I especially love silk and anything linnen. Crochet is also always interesting.

I know exactly what you mean! Many designers start by fabric, then everything else! really makes the difference on any piece of clothing!

It only takes 5 seconds!

Would be so nice! Thanks! :) x
