Style Innovation - On The Corner of Hanbury & Wilkes Street - London.

Style Innovation is why this gentleman is up today. If you gave all these items to three individuals on three different income levels, there would be three very different styles. But if you were born with a creative imagination in style, this is what you come up with - a truly original sense of dressing that's unique to the individual in question and pleasing to us the viewer.

I was discussing this with a friend yesterday via email (you know who you are), that it does not matter which income level one is at. Style transcends all levels of income - you just have to be in possession of it. There are so many great things happening with this outfit. I mean look at the way he combined those two scarfs instead of one just to get some more volume in the neck and chest area to bounce off that floral shirt underneath. That is precisely what style innovation is. That is something money cannot buy.

The 'two scarves' was what definitely drew me to this look first. Totally agree, style isn't about budget - you've either got it or you ain't!

Sometimes NOT having money makes you more creative...and interesting.

Gotta love a guy in a floral shirt!

I agree with your thoughts on Style and it really has nothing to do with money. In fact I also agree with Underemployed - Not having money (or less options) makes you more creative! :)

I agree that style innovation (and creativity in general) has nothing to do with the income level. I adore the way he mixed prints and combined both scarves.

I totally agree with you here, style has nothing to do with the money that lines our pockets. I'm loving the print clashing going on underneath the beige mac. The scarfs are a really lovely touch!

He reminds me of Simon Doonan in his floral styling choices.

In regards to the Valentino Red, I used to love it but now the new duo seems to have basically done away with it. Tragedy.

I love this look. What a great definition of style innovation. My thought...money buys "QUALITY" but not style. I saw a quote on another blog that said "fashion is what you buy; style is how you put it together." Every blogger could purchase the same shirt and pants but I guarantee you everyone will wear it differently and jazz it up in their own way. Love your blog sweetie and thank you for commenting on mine! Kiah

I love this area of London. It's steeped in sordid history and slap bang in ripper territory. One day you may even bump into me along these streets.

Have you spied the Severs House there? Curious!
