I had a lovely Christmas, and I hope you did, too. We gave my mother a digital piano. She was just opening up a gift of piano books and said, "But I don't have a piano," and my son walked in with the big, heavy box and promptly dropped it - crash! - on the floor. I said, "Yeah, now you do."
She hasn't touched a piano in 57 years. She began shaking, she was so stunned and happy.
She has been tied to home, caring for her dying husband, for almost three years. Now she has some music and joy for the long, dark winter.
