"Darling, live tweeting is the new black..." was my favorite quote for the whole of London fashion week. If you look closely, you will notice a few members of the front row doing this very thing - live tweeting from the show. Ha! You gotta love it though, this is insane, so busy tweeting that you missed the show!
Anyway, putting that aside, in a few hours time, I'm off to Kings Cross to jump on the Eurostar to France for Paris fashion week. I'll be posting as soon as I can. Ciao!
Oh, by the way, sorry about the poor quality shaky video. This is because the show was so packed that I was next to someone who if given the chance, I would shove their monopod camera thingy up where the sun don't shine... and I kept trying to shake it off.
This show had one of the best hair styles I saw all week and those coloured contact lenses just made the whole thing surreal. Take the second to last picture for example, the hair, the feathers, the print, - it was as if we were being visited by a troupe of extra terrestrial performers...in a good way that is.
Unlike John Galliano (whatever the facts are, and outcome of this 'thing' ), I hope you're having a great weekend like I am catching up on the week's TV.
Now this was a much anticipated show. After their much critically acclaimed spring show last season, everybody was waiting to see what they would deliver this season and I've got to say, they did a superb job of living up to our expectaions. Many thanks to Dvora at Fashionistable!
