This little enclave in west London's Notting Hill that includes Portobello Road and Westbourne Grove is such a major tourist attraction that one can barely move especially on Saturdays. The eclectic mix of merchandise for sale attracts such a diverse range of interesting characters that give me much joy to interact with. I can only hope that you are all having a chilled-out weekend as these folks are. The unexpected rise in temperatures during fashion week brought everyone out to play at the gardens in Tuileries.

These two young men seemed like they were looking for internships on Savile Row when I run into them as one of them had a portfolio with him. I think it is safe to say that whoever ends up employing them will have a truly talented duo on their hands. I have to say, the future of British tailoring looks great. Wouldn't you agree?

In case you haven't heard, the news today is that Steve Jobs lost his battle with pancreatic cancer and died yesterday. Is it a sad day. We are all affected in some way by his innovative mind.
